Getting your BAR replay reviewed by a mentor step by step
The Beyond All Reason community runs a structured replay review system through Discord. Any player can submit a public match replay for feedback from experienced mentors who analyze economy, build timing, and tactical decisions.

How to submit a replay for review
The process follows four clear steps:
- Create a thread in the academy chat channel at https://discord.com/channels/549281623154229250/1090730219356307496 using the new thread button at the top right of Discord
- Paste the replay link from the BAR replay website at https://www.beyondallreason.info/replays where all public matches save automatically
- Include your in-game name if it differs from your Discord display name
- Wait for a mentor to pick up the thread and provide written breakdown
Private matches do not upload to the replay website. For those, attach the local .sdfz replay file from the data/demos folder instead.
What mentors look for
Mentors examine T1 economy construction pace, metal extractor placement timing, military transitions, scouting frequency, and army positioning during fights. A replay submission that includes specific questions like "was my metal expansion fast enough" or "should I have scouted before rushing" gets significantly better feedback than a generic request.
