Customizing your BAR settings and interface
Beyond All Reason gives you extensive control over settings, UI elements, and widgets. Newer players often struggle to find the right configuration options. Here is how to sort it out.

Finding settings that actually work
Some settings only appear as toggles in specific contexts. If a setting description mentions a toggle but you cannot find one, check whether you need to be in a lobby versus the main menu, or whether the setting depends on an active widget configuration.
Widget presets save time
Widgets control unit AI, formation behavior, and build queue management. Set up widget presets for different game modes and switch between them quickly. A good preset reduces micromanagement and lets you focus on macro strategy during matches.
Bug reporting path
When a settings issue turns out to be an actual bug, report it through GitHub Issues. The BAR team tracks all bugs there with separate repositories for the lobby and launcher versus the core game engine. Clear bug reports with screenshots and reproduction steps get resolved fastest.
Get help from the community
When you cannot figure out a setting, ask in community channels. Experienced players have usually solved the same configuration problems and can point you to the right toggle or widget combination within minutes.
A community that helps newcomers with setup questions rather than telling them to read documentation is the kind of community worth joining. Creed of Champions builds around patient learning and hands-on guidance for every skill level.
[Crd] It is so easy to get on with everyone and there is zero toxicity. Just fun games of BAR which can have quite a toxic community usually.
