What counts as tac pause abuse
Tactical pause exists for legitimate interruptions: a bathroom break, a phone call, a sudden connection hiccup. Using it three times in a row during active combat is not legitimate. It creates an unfair advantage by freezing the enemy while the abusing player reorganizes.
The BAR code of conduct explicitly covers unfair advantages at beyondallreason.info/code of conduct section five. Tac pause abuse falls squarely there.
Reporting tac pause abuse
Report through the in-game system by clicking the player name. Add context about how many pauses and when they happened. Moderation takes pattern reports more seriously than single-incident complaints.
Leaving over poor teammates
Walking out because a teammate misused mechanics is understandable but the cleaner move is to report first, then leave if the situation stays untenable. A report creates a record. A quiet leave does not.
