What the time behind metric tells you about idle constructors

The time behind widget converts wasted buildpower into a concrete number: how many seconds you would be ahead if every constructor was working right now.

How the number is calculated

Time behind measures the gap between your current buildpower usage and full utilization. It factors in the metal value of each idle constructor, weighting commanders more heavily since an idle commander represents roughly 1250 metal of construction capacity sitting unused. The display shows green for acceptable efficiency and red for significant idle time.

What to do when time behind climbs

A rising time behind number means constructors are sitting idle. Check for blocked build sites, insufficient resource income, or builders standing in queue without work. The fix is almost always assigning those constructors to active construction projects immediately.

Why this metric matters

Converting abstract buildpower percentages into time lost creates an intuitive feel for efficiency. Losing 30 seconds of build advantage from idle constructors compounds over a twenty minute match into a massive economic gap.

Creed of champions

Tracking metrics like time behind separates players who improve from those who plateau. Creed of Champions runs structured training where experienced players break down these numbers with learners in a supportive setting. No toxicity, just results.

[Crd] One of the few places where you can for sure coordinate with people in matches with a good supportive attitude. Everybody tends to be understanding and constructive.
