Why player names disappear in the BAR lobby and how to fix it

Some BAR players report that game listings appear in the lobby but player names show as blank. The issue ties to server stability and cache behavior.

What causes it

When BAR servers experience downtime and come back online, the lobby client cache sometimes fails to refresh properly. This blank name display is a known bug that resolves with a relog.

The fix

Close the game completely and log back in. This forces the lobby client to pull fresh data from the server. Names display correctly after the refresh.

When it persists

If the relog does not fix it, the server may still be stabilizing after an outage. During heavy weekend player counts of around a thousand, server issues occur more frequently. Wait until server status stabilizes and try again.

In rare cases, persistent blank names accompanied by other lobby glitches may indicate an account-level flag. Contact support through the official channels if standard troubleshooting fails.
