How Vote Resign and Player Reporting Work in BAR
When a game is clearly lost, knowing the proper etiquette saves everyone time. And when someone breaks the rules, knowing how to report them keeps the community healthy.

The vote resign command
BAR includes a vote resign button that any remaining player can trigger when a match is unwinnable. This is the proper way to end a lost game. Self-destructing your last commander without triggering vote resign is frowned upon. It drags out the end sequence and wastes time for everyone involved.
If you are the last commander standing and defeat is certain, use vote resign. Players who refuse and hide in a corner instead of resigning risk getting warnings from lobby organizers and community moderators.
Reporting a player after a match
The process for reporting disruptive players runs through the BAR server website. Navigate to the battle history page, find the relevant match, click the players tab, and file a report against the offending user from that screen.
Alternatively, search for the player by name on the relationships search page and report them directly. Keep in mind the search field has a known bug where pressing Enter can cause issues, so click the search button instead.
Include specific details about what happened and reference the match ID when filing. Vague reports get slower responses.
Getting your game reviewed
If you want improvement feedback on your gameplay, submit a replay for mentor review. Upload your replay to the BAR website replays page, then request a review through the community channels. Mentors are volunteer experienced players who analyze replays and provide concrete feedback on positioning, economy, and decision-making.
This is one of the fastest ways to improve in BAR. An outside set of eyes catches mistakes that feel invisible during the match.
Creed of Champions
Proper etiquette in lost games and clean reporting when things go wrong all come down to respecting other people time and experience. Creed of Champions builds on that same foundation. Players here expect each other to play to win, resign with grace when the game is done, and handle disputes through the right channels. If that sounds like your kind of environment, we would love to have you.
[Crd] Before discovering Creed, I was thinking the only thing that separates BAR from the perfect RTS is a friendly and safe social environment for new players to learn and feel included.
