How to report bugs and get them fixed in Beyond All Reason
BAR uses GitHub Issues for official bug tracking. Here where reports go and how the community handles balance changes.

Where to report bugs
Beyond All Reason tracks bugs through GitHub Issues rather than forum threads or Discord messages. Different components have their own repositories. The game engine has one, the lobby and launcher have another, and individual mods may have their own issue trackers.
Filing a good bug report means describing what happened, what you expected, and steps to reproduce it. Screenshots and replay files help immensely. Vague reports get less traction because developers cannot fix problems they cannot recreate.
Balance changes and community voting
BAR runs community balance votes where anyone can propose specific stat changes. Proposals need a link to a qualifying discussion in the meta channels and enough community support to move forward. The rules require exact stat numbers, not vague complaints about something feeling overpowered.
This process keeps balance changes grounded in data and community consensus rather than individual preferences. If you have a take about a unit being too strong or too weak, back it up with specific numbers and evidence from actual matches.
Reporting problematic players
If you need to report a player, use the in-game reporting system. Click their username and select Report User. You can also submit reports through the BAR server website by finding the match in your history and using the players tab there.
Third party reporting through website account tools works too, though the Relationships section is not the most obvious place to look. In-game reports get tracked and correlated better since the moderation team can cross reference multiple reports against the same player.
Troubleshooting radar and visibility issues
A common confusion involves shooting at radar contacts without visual contact. Units firing at radar-only targets shoot at inaccurate positions. Radar provides location data but does not give the precision needed for effective targeting. You need actual line of sight or a sensor unit nearby to get accurate firing solutions.
OpenSkill ratings can also confuse players. Your rating can drop to zero or below your starting value if you lose enough placement games. Each game mode maintains a separate rating, which explains why different numbers show up across lobby types.
Closing note
Clear reporting and honest feedback keep BAR healthy for everyone. Players who engage constructively with the community tend to have better experiences across the board. Creed of Champions values that kind of mature, solution oriented approach to gameplay challenges.
[Crd] One of the few places where you can for sure coordinate with people in matches with a good supportive attitude. Everybody tends to be understanding and constructive.
