BAR lobby tweaks use the !bset command followed by a Base64-encoded value. Getting the format wrong silently fails. Here is the correct workflow and common mistakes.
Type !bset tweakunits or !bset tweakunits1 followed by the encoded string directly in the lobby chat. Some commands use numbered slots like tweakunits1, tweakunits2, and so on. If dev settings are enabled, you can see every tweak slot. Otherwise use the numbered commands.
When a mod post provides a command starting with !, triple-click to select the entire line and paste it into lobby chat as one complete string. Do not break it across messages.
If your screen corners display incorrectly after applying a tweak, the issue is almost always a malformed tweakunits string. Something in the encoded data does not match the expected structure. Decode it, check for missing or extra fields, and re-encode.
Players trying randomizer mods in skirmish sometimes find the lobby will not launch. The fix is the same as above: paste the full !bset command from the mod post into lobby chat before starting. If the post only provides a Base64 code without the !bset prefix, you need to construct the command yourself.
A tweak that does not apply is almost always an encoding problem or a copy-paste error. The system works when the input is correct. Verify your Base64, check the command format, and try again.
