How to access BAR development channels and report players correctly

Beyond All Reason opens its development channels to anyone who requests the Development Role. Player reporting works through both the in-game client and the server battle website.

Accessing development channels

Development channel access requires one step. Open the Discord channel customization menu, grab the Development Role icon with the wrench emoji, and every channel previously marked as No Access becomes visible. Development channels contain active discussions about engine changes, balance decisions, and upcoming features. Players should read pinned messages before posting and keep bug reports in the dedicated bug channel rather than general discussion.

This approach respects developer time while giving curious players direct visibility into how the game gets built.

Reporting players properly

The fastest reporting path runs through the server website. Navigate to https://server4.beyondallreason.info/battle, find the relevant match, click the Players tab, and file the report from there. This creates a trackable record that moderators can cross-reference with other reports. The in-game client also supports reporting by clicking a username and selecting Report User.

Players can also search by name at https://server4.beyondallreason.info/account/relationship/search to find accounts and attach reports. Clicking the search button is necessary because pressing Enter triggers a known bug in that field.
