Faction Identity in BAR, Armada and Core Differences

Armada and Core lack fully defined faction-specific traits, which means both factions play similarly despite their different aesthetics and unit rosters.

The current state of factions

Armada is intended to represent finesse and precision but the gameplay does not fully reflect this yet. Core leans toward durability and direct pressure. The mechanical differences between the two factions are subtle enough that most players treat them as mirror matches with cosmetic variation.

What needs to happen

Faction-specific traits remain under development. The community has called for the developers to consolidate and polish the existing two factions before expanding further. Adding a third faction without solid identities for the current two creates a game that feels unfocused.

Development direction

The BAR team faces competing priorities between adding content and refining existing systems. Community feedback consistently pushes for deeper faction differentiation before new factions arrive. Legion exists as an experimental faction while the core two get balance refinement across seasons.

Where to discuss changes

Creed of Champions members discuss faction balance during practice sessions and share their observations from competitive play. Having a focused group of dedicated players provides the developers with consistent, constructive feedback on where faction identities succeed and where they fall flat.
