Free-for-all matches in BAR bring an interesting question. If you play an FFA match with friends, is collaborating against others a violation of the rules? Here is what the community says.

BAR does not explicitly prohibit coordinating with friends during FFA matches. No rule says you cannot use voice chat to plan attacks or share intelligence with allies in a free-for-all game. Technically, it is allowed.
However, the community acknowledges this might change. If players systematically exploit FFA collaboration to farm rating or ruin games for solo players, a rule will almost certainly be added.
Some BAR game modes and custom lobbies support team FFA formats where alliances are built into the rules. In these modes, collaboration is expected. Check the lobby description before joining. Team FFA and solo FFA are different experiences.
If you play FFA with friends, keep it fun and fair. Do not use collaboration to crush beginners who joined solo. The BAR community relies on goodwill. Players who exploit loopholes to ruin others' experiences get called out and may face consequences even without a specific rule.
When in doubt, be transparent. Tell other players in the lobby that you are playing with friends. Let them decide whether they want to participate. Honest communication prevents most conflicts.
Creed of Champions plays FFA matches for practice and fun. Team coordination is part of the experience but never at the expense of making newcomers feel unwelcome. Everyone gets to compete on fair terms regardless of who they know.
[Crd] The training sessions are fantastic. Learning game mechanics, practicing micro, and getting actual feedback instead of just losing repeatedly alone. I improved more in one month with Crd than in six months solo.
