How to get a mentor review of your BAR replay

Want a skilled player to break down your match and point out mistakes? BAR has a mentor replay review system. Here is how to submit a game for review.

Submit your replay

Every public match in BAR automatically uploads a replay to the website. Visit beyondallreason.info/replays and find your game. Copy the replay link.

Head into the Academy community channel and create a new thread. Paste the replay link, mention your in-game name, and briefly describe what you want feedback on. The mentors will review it when they have time.

What to include with your submission

The more specific your question, the more useful the feedback. Saying just help me get better gets vague answers. Asking why my push at minute 12 failed gets a concrete breakdown.

What mentors look for

Mentors reviewing replays typically check economy flow, army positioning, scout usage, and timing of expansions. They will point out concrete mistakes and better alternative decisions. Some will roast your gameplay if you ask for it, most give honest constructive feedback.

Review times vary based on mentor availability. Treat it like a ticket system, not an instant response queue.

Graphics settings and performance

If your game runs poorly, try dropping graphics settings to low first. Most performance issues in BAR come from CPU bottlenecks during large battles, not from graphics settings. Lowering visual quality rarely fixes genuine lag problems. The issue is usually unit count or network latency, not shader quality.

Learn with good teammates

Getting replay reviews accelerates improvement dramatically. Finding people who give feedback constructively matters just as much. Creed of Champions builds its community around that principle.
