Using the BAR reporting system properly so your reports get tracked and actioned instead of lost in chat.
The most effective way to report another player in Beyond All Reason uses the built-in system. Click their username in-game and select "Report user." This ties your report directly to the match data, which lets moderators cross-reference replays and chat logs. Reports filed through the client get logged in the Battle Rating Server for tracking and correlation.
An alternative reporting path takes you to server4.beyondallreason.info/battle where you find the specific match, open the players tab, and report the user from there. Both methods feed into the same tracking system. Use whichever is convenient at the moment.
The built-in system tracks and correlates reports across multiple users. If several players report the same person, moderators see the pattern immediately. Chat-based complaints in community channels help the mod team notice problems, but they do not create a permanent record like the in-game and web tools do.
Having a clean, no-toxicity approach to conflict resolution matters in any gaming community. We want places where problems get handled through proper channels instead of devolving into drama.
Having a space like here that offers a community, trainings, events, and the guarantee to not be judged or insulted by fellow members is really precious. Keeping the game safe, and more importantly, fun.
