If you have ever wondered whether tracers ping cloaked commanders or why the server locks you out with flood protection warnings, you are in good company. Both come up constantly.
Tracers in Beyond All Reason do not detect cloaked and stealthed commanders. Tracers operate on a specific attribute set assigned per unit, and commanders simply do not have that attribute. This means a fully cloaked commander standing inside tracer range stays invisible.
The community has flagged this and there is appetite to change how ICS and detection work in future updates. For now, commanders stay off the tracer grid.
Getting booted from the server and then locked out with flood protection warnings is an issue that has hit everyone at some point. You disconnect, try to log back in immediately, and the flood protection kicks in. The only fix is waiting a bit before your next login attempt. Rushing reconnect attempts just extends the lockout window.
This happens during peak load periods and after unexpected disconnects. If you get booted mid-match, wait thirty to sixty seconds before logging back in. The flood protection timer resets on its own.
Getting disconnected and wondering about stealth mechanics are both moments where patience and asking questions pay off. The BAR community has always been ready to share what they know.
