BAR Zoom Not Working After Alt-Tab: Quick Fix

The root cause

When you alt-tab out of BAR during fullscreen or borderless mode, Windows sometimes fails to unregister the Alt key press. The game still thinks Alt is held down, which breaks zoom input because the zoom scroll wheel and shortcut keys conflict with the stuck modifier.

How to fix it

The fix is simple. Tap both Alt keys a few times, left and right. Then press Tab once. This resets the key state in Windows and returns zoom control to normal. If that does not work, try these steps:

Alt-tab back into the game, then alt-tab out and back in again
Press Ctrl, Alt, and Shift on both sides of the keyboard to reset all modifier states
If you are spectating and zoom is broken, try switching camera mode with the V key
As a last resort, restart the game client
