What does the Dynamic Cheats checkbox do in BAR

The AI gets help when you dominate and backs off when you struggle. Here is why that toggle exists.

What dynamic cheats does

When you enable Dynamic Cheats, the AI gets extra bonuses when you are winning and receives no boost when you are losing. The effect sounds harsh but the purpose is fair play. BAR AI cannot match human decision-making at its best, so the game gives it a catch-up mechanic to keep matches interesting.

Without dynamic cheats, a skilled player will crush the AI effortlessly every time. With it enabled, the AI builds faster and pushes harder when you get ahead, forcing you to actually try in the late game.

How the AI cheating works

The AI gets boosted build power, faster resource generation, and quicker production when the game detects you are dominating. It does not read your inputs or cheat on information. The boost is purely economic. The AI still makes its own strategic decisions, just with more resources available when it is behind.

When to enable it

Enable dynamic cheats for skirmish practice when you want a consistent challenge regardless of your skill level. Disable it for the purest AI experience. If you are new and struggling against the AI, turn it off to reduce the difficulty spike.
