New players struggle to find out when community events happen. Veterans disagree about when a team should call it quits. Both have practical answers.

The fastest way to find a BAR community event is to look for a lobby with many players and find the associated Twitch stream. Event hosts usually promote their matches through the BAR Discord server announcements channel and the Twitch directory. If you are logged into Discord, the events channel shows scheduled matches. If you are looking right now, just join a lobby with lots of players and ask when the next event starts.
BAR runs regular events including large shared front games, faction tournaments, and new-player learning sessions. The schedule changes by week, so checking the Discord or asking in the community is always the most reliable method.
In BAR team games, the proper etiquette is to propose a team resign vote when the situation is clearly lost and further play is not productive. This means your main production is destroyed, your economy is broken, and there is no path to recovery. If the resign vote fails and you are still losing after a few minutes, consider a personal resign.
Only resign personally when your commander and your base are gone. If you still have a fighting force, stay and help your team. Leaving early costs your team numbers and hurts the remaining players who are still trying.
Exceptions exist: if someone is griefing the game, if there is a desync, or if it is a casual practice match where all players agree to stop, those are not resign situations. They are just end-the-game situations.
Knowing when to resign and how to find events is exactly the kind of knowledge the community shares. Creed of Champions events are clearly announced, lobbies fill fast, and the expectation is that everyone plays clean and respects their teammates whether winning or losing.
