How to get your BAR replay reviewed by a mentor

Getting a replay reviewed is easily the fastest way to improve in Beyond All Reason. Mentors watch your games, find where you went wrong, and give you specific fixes. Here is how you put your replay in front of one.

Find your replay

Every ranked and public match in BAR is uploaded automatically to the replay site at beyondallreason.info/replays. Just search your in-game name and you will find your games listed by date and map. Click the match to grab the replay link.

If the match was private, it will not appear on the site. You can find the demo file in your local data/demos folder and share it directly. Most mentor reviews work fine with the website link though.

Submit for review

Go to the academy-chat channel and create a new thread. Name it with a clear format so mentors can triage quickly. Include the game type, map, your name, and a short note about what you want feedback on.

Drop the replay link in the thread. Add your in-game name if it differs from your forum name. That is the entire submission. The thread acts like a ticket and a mentor will pick it up when they have time.

What to include for a good review

How long it takes

Mentor reviews are volunteer work. There is no SLA and no queue priority system. Expect anything from a few hours to a couple days depending on how busy the review team is. If your thread has been sitting for over a week, a polite bump is fine. Just ask and do not demand.

New player resources while you wait

While waiting for a review, the official BAR guides page at beyondallreason.info/guides has written guides and video content that cover fundamentals. The guides hit economy basics, first build orders, and common early mistakes. Going through those before your review means you will get more out of the feedback since you already know the basics.

Closing note

Replay reviews work because someone with better eyes on the game catches patterns you miss on your own. Treat the feedback like diagnostics, not judgment. The players who climb fastest are the ones who come back with another replay link instead of making excuses.

[Crd] It is so easy to get on with everyone and there is zero toxicity. Just fun games of BAR which can have quite a toxic community usually.

Creed of Champions runs in a space where replay reviews happen without the usual post-game frustration. People share feedback, improve together, and keep matches enjoyable. That is the bar worth aiming for.
