Legion is a total-conversion mod for BAR that changes the available unit roster. It is not fully balanced yet, but experienced players have found reliable ways to make it competitive against the standard factions.

Legion rewards a defensive, stalling-heavy approach. The strategy boils down to playing bots to control early territory, defending through the mid-game until you reach Tier 3 tech, and then transitioning into heavy endgame units.
The two standout T3 units are Sol Invictus and Myrmidon. These carry enough power to dominate games when properly defended and produced at scale. Getting there requires patience and solid early-game survival.
Legion bots form the backbone of early pressure and defense. They are more cost-effective than most conventional early units, which means you can field more of them for the same metal and energy investment. Use them to lock down expansion points and force opponents to over-commit to counter them.
The mid-game is where Legion players need the most discipline. Your goal is surviving long enough to unlock Tier 3 factories without throwing economy into expansion. Keep your production steady, maintain map control with bot patrols, and do not overextend until your heavy units are rolling.
Once Sol Invictuses and Myrmidons hit the field, the tempo shifts dramatically. Your opponent either needs a pre-built answer or faces a devastating push.
If your natural inclination is building strong positions and grinding out opponents, Legion aligns with that style. Do not try to force aggressive plays early. Let your defense do the work while your economy grows behind it.
Trying out new factions and strategies works best when teammates understand what you are attempting and can cover weaknesses while you learn.
[Crd] The first and only community I have seen that actually holds up to its values. I have honestly not had a single bad experience here.
Creed of Champions runs team matches where players experiment with unusual faction choices in low-pressure environments, exactly the right setup for testing Legion strategies.
