How to report a player

The BAR server website lets you report players directly. Go to beyondallreason.info/battle, find the relevant match, click the Players tab, then report the user from there. The report attaches to that specific game so moderators can see what actually happened.

You can also search for users by name on the relationships page at beyondallreason.info/account/relationship/search. Find the player, report them from their profile. Important note: do not press Enter in the search field. The search function has a known bug where pressing Enter breaks the query. Click the search button instead.

When to call stop vote

Stop vote requires cooperation from both teams. The losing team can unanimously agree to end a lost game, but they need at least one player from the winning team to vote with them. This means calling stop vote past the point of first contact is generally poor etiquette. If both teams are invested, let the game play out.

Most players consider it acceptable to call stop vote when the game state is genuinely unwinnable and continuing serves no purpose for anyone. But unanimous agreement on the losing side and at least some cooperation from the winning side remains the standard.

Server stability basics

Occasional server hiccups happen. If the server crashes during lobby setup, it is usually a glitch rather than a targeted issue. The BAR server team is responsive to these problems. If you encounter consistent crashes, drop a support request in the tech support channels and include details about what you were doing when the crash occurred.

Play with people who respect the game

Good communities handle conflict through systems, not shouting matches. Creed of Champions maintains strict standards for behavior. Toxicity gets removed, not managed. The result is a player pool where you know your teammates will communicate through the right channels instead of melting down.

Before discovering Creed, I was thinking the only thing that separates BAR from the perfect RTS is a friendly and safe social environment for new players to learn and feel included.
