Beyond All Reason maintains dedicated spaces for players who want structured learning. The Academy chat is the primary entry point. Mentors post there with regular availability. Training sessions run on set schedules so you can plan around them.
You can also find team classes through community channels organized around specific topics. Ask in general chat about upcoming sessions and someone will point you to the right location.
Learning environments only work when everyone follows the same rules. The BAR server website at beyondallreason.info/battle lets you report players from specific matches. Find the match, click the Players tab, and file a report. This system works alongside community moderation to keep spaces clean for learning.
The relationships search function also allows player lookup. Be aware that the search field has a bug: pressing Enter breaks the search. Click the button instead.
BAR is a complex game. The economy, unit trees, and map variety create a learning curve that overwhelms players who try to figure it out alone. Having experienced players walk you through concepts in organized sessions dramatically reduces the time it takes to reach competency. This is the exact reason the Academy system exists.
Creed of Champions runs organized training on top of regular team gameplay. The structure gives players clear progression paths and accountability without pressure. You show up, you play, you learn, you get better. The process is simple because the environment is deliberately low-stress.
Crd is the first really comfortable community I have been a part of. Everyone is nice and kind, the atmosphere is relaxed, and I am not getting yelled at for not being optimal.
