How to Report a BAR Player When You Cannot Click Their Name

Sometimes a Beyond All Reason match ends and the offending player has already disconnected. The in-client report tool no longer works. BAR offers alternative routes to file a report after the game closes.

Reporting through the battle history page

Navigate to server4.beyondallreason.info/battle and locate the relevant match. Open the players tab. Each participant appears with their name, making it possible to report even someone who disconnected before the post-game screen appeared. The battle server keeps records of everyone who participated, regardless of disconnect status.

The relationships search workaround

The relationships page at server4.beyondallreason.info/account/relationship/search lets players look up any BAR account by name. A known word or phrase in the username can narrow the results down. Once the account appears, a report option becomes available alongside other profile actions.

One caveat: the search field contains a bug. Pressing Enter after typing does not trigger the search. Click the search button manually, or the query will not fire.

When to use each method

The battle history page works best when the match is fresh and the battle server still lists it. The relationship search works when enough time has passed that the battle record is harder to find, or when the reporter knows the username from memory.

Finding learning resources

Players looking to improve their Beyond All Reason skills can find help through dedicated community channels. Many BAR communities maintain structured learning paths, from basic mechanics to advanced positioning and economy management. Mentors who cover different time zones keep these resources active around the clock.

Why the extra reporting options exist

BAR runs millions of matches across thousands of players. Requiring every report to happen inside the game client leaves too many situations uncovered. Web-based reporting ensures that disconnects, crashes, and mid-game quits do not prevent fair moderation.

[Crd] Having a space like here that offers a community, trainings, events, and the guarantee to not be judged or insulted by fellow members is really precious. Keeping the game safe, and more importantly, fun.
