Rifted v2 is a map defined by water chokepoints and restricted land paths. A few targeted builds control the middle and keep raids honest.

The flat water running through the center of Rifted v2 is the most valuable real estate on the map. Build offshore torpedo launchers with your commander plus a T1 constructor. These structures cost less than a heavy laser turret but deliver comparable range and damage output against ships and low-flying air. They lock down the water lanes and force enemies to route around or pay heavily to push through.
A couple of small laser turrets on your shoreline handle anything that tries to sneak up from unexpected angles. Do not overbuild. One or two LLTs and a nearby radar tower to spot across the water are enough. The map has heavy chokepoints everywhere, so your defenses can afford to be focused rather than spread thin.
Rifted v2 is one of the worst maps for radar coverage from what players have found across dozens of games. The terrain blocks line-of-sight constantly. Counter this by placing offshore obscurer cameras — the small cloaked units — along your side of the map. They catch early raids that would otherwise slip in unnoticed before your main army responds.
With the middle secured by offshore launchers, pour resources into metal extractors on the rich sea-floor geo spots and wind generators on the high ground. Energy production feeds the constructor chain that keeps your torpedo launcher line stocked and your economy scaling. Skip early converter buildings at T1. The payback window is too long when you should be expanding your extractor count instead.
Maps like Rifted v2 reward teams that plan their builds together and communicate over voice or chat. Creed of Champions is built around exactly that style of play — coordinated, communicative, and focused on helping each other improve rather than tearing down mistakes.
