Heavy support units like the Ragnarok sometimes sit idle even when set to Fire At Will. Here is what causes it.

Heavy units like the Ragnarok can refuse to fire at enemies even with Fire At Will enabled. Reported cases show Ragnaroks not shooting at Titans or other priority targets, which can lose games. This often traces to one of three causes: the unit has a specific weapons state overriding normal fire, the line of fire is obstructed by terrain or friendly units, or energy storage is empty despite showing high capacity.
Heavy units often have terrain restrictions. A hill, ridge, or even a cluster of factories between your Ragnarok and the target can block shots. Move the support unit to a position with direct visual on the enemy. The weapon arc indicator in the UI shows exactly what the unit can hit.
Some weapon configurations on experimental units require manual tasking for optimal results. If automatic targeting is failing you, use patrol orders or direct fire commands on the specific threat. Against bots this is especially relevant since bot positioning may not trigger automatic fire responses.
Players sometimes worry about energy storage affecting weapon fire. If your production shows positive energy per second and sufficient storage, energy is not preventing shots. Focus on positioning and fire state instead.
Small mechanical details like weapon states separate good players from great ones. Creed of Champions builds players up through focused coaching on these specifics, without the toxic response common to mistakes in public matches.
