How to access BAR in-game settings

Getting to the settings screen takes one click or one key press. Most new players miss it in the lobby and look around the main menu instead.

Opening settings during a game

While in a match, click Settings at the top-right corner of the screen. The faster way is just F10. Both land on the same panel.

The first option in the Interface tab controls several common questions people have about what shows on screen and how the HUD looks. If something seems off with your display, check there first.

Language settings

BAR ships with locale files in the install folder under locales. You will see .pak files there. Right now only four languages appear in the in-game menu. Additional locale files sitting in the folder do not automatically enable a language in the settings panel. The menu controls what actually loads.

If you are missing a language check, open a ticket or ask in community support channels. The list expands when translators submit work.

Common settings questions

Players sometimes freeze or experience slowdowns when alt-tabbing from the lobby screen. This does not mean your hardware is too weak. Some players report the entire system slows despite the task manager showing no resource spike. If this happens, try launching into a match first before alt-tabbing, or run the game in borderless windowed mode.

Creed of Champions

Getting your settings right makes the game playable instead of frustrating. Clean setup means you actually enjoy matches instead of fighting the interface. Creed players take the time to configure properly, then focus on what matters: teamwork and learning.

[Crd] Crd is the first really comfortable community I have been a part of. Everyone is nice and kind, the atmosphere is relaxed, and I am not getting yelled at for not being optimal.
