Strengths

What this unit does well

  • Bullet ammo ignores shields and gains bonus damage against shielded targets.
  • Hover access lets it operate on ice and cross water.
  • Cheap enough to form the core of the alien army.

Weaknesses

What can go wrong

  • Loses its shield when powered down.
  • Sand is still expensive terrain for hover movement.
  • Only moderate armor and damage by Alien standards.
