Adaptive Command faction dossier

Alien faction

Mobile on awkward ground, rich in shields and control effects, and built to make geography itself part of the fight.

Doctrine

General overview

The Alien faction leans into hover mobility, shielded platforms, energy-based control, and map-warping status effects. It thrives when terrain is awkward, supply lines are exposed, and the enemy cannot solve mobility problems cleanly.

Hover mobility Control effects Shielded units Terrain manipulation

Strengths

  • Hover access and unusual terrain routes
  • Strong energy, cryo, acid, and incendiary control tools
  • Flexible response across ground and air
  • Excellent at making the map hostile

Weaknesses

  • Higher maintenance burden on many premium units
  • Some key units depend heavily on power staying online
  • Hover movement still pays a real cost on sand
  • Kinetic efficiency is generally worse than the Human faction
Source note: This page is built from the supplied faction design document and the mirrored Adaptive Command art pack. Several alien ground units already have concept art in the public assets. Aircraft and some specialty units currently use styled placeholder states until final art is ready.
